I N D O N E S I A

Yup, here I am. In I N D O N E S I A !

Finally, after almost 2 years not coming back home, now I can feel the heat. Haha. I got here last week. Due to the fact that my mom and dad don’t live here (they’re still in Bahrain), I’m staying at my granny’s currently. I’m getting used to the bathroom. I’m working on the kitchen. Haha. It’s really hot, but hey surprisingly I’m not complaining as much as I used to. Apparently, I’m learning to enjoy life.

Being here is as usual, awkward. I just can’t stop talking about people around me in indonesian, then I realized they get everything I say. Forgive me. I’ve been eating a lot which I’m pretty happy about. I super love love love indonesian food! Oh and I also met some friends! It’s amazing how much people can change in only 2 years time.

Anyway, I started working today as an intern in my aunt’s company, PT. Arah Delapan Sembilan. I’m pretty excited because this is pretty much my first time working in a company. I’ll be working on the design thingy. Apart from killing time, I just need a working experience. Anyway, I hope I have a great time in this winter break!

It’s Winter Break !

It’s 12.12.12. Haha.

I’m on my winter break already. I had my last day last friday. I’m so happy that my winter break started like a week earlier than everyone else’s. But, my last week of this semester was really hectic. I had deadlines for the annual Visual Design Exhibition. I literally slept like at 3 in the morning every single day that week. Anyway, it’s freedom now so hell yeah I’m excited. I’m still in Korea though, hopefully I’ll be heading back to Indonesia on the 20th of this month. It’s been 2 years!

Have a great december everyone!

I’m loving fall right now. It just feels right.
It’s been a pretty long since we, samanners hanged out together. So we went to a little trip last weekend. Actually, we wanted to picnic just like last year. But, the weather was getting a little bit too cold for a picnic, so we decided to just go somewhere together. And, so we went to see maple trees!
We took a 5 hours bus ride to Damyang. The journey was really tiring. Well, sitting in the bus for 5 hours was the thing that made us really tired. The first place we went to was Mountain Gang-Cheon. The place was phenomenal! It was really beautiful, such an awesome sight. The maple trees were just so colorful I couldn’t put down my camera. We also crossed the Cloud Bridge. It was quite scary considering I’m somehow scared of height. The second place we went to was this Bamboo Park. I’ve never been to a place that had that much bamboos in one place. It was really refreshing. We also had lunch there, we ate Korean Food. The last place we went was the famous Metasequoia-lined road! A lot of korean movies shoot scenes here. We didn’t really walk through, we just took a picture and went back since we were already pretty tired. Though, the pictures came out great.
It was 9PM when we reached Seomyeon, Busan. We had dinner at Queen’s Chicken. That was my second time eating out there. Amazing tasted, I loved it!
